On August 9, Officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious activity in the 3000 block of Countryside Drive. The reporting party said that the subjects were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, ski masks, and believed they were about to commit a robbery.
As Officers arrived on scene to investigate, they located a vehicle with subjects that matched the description.
Officers made a traffic stop for vehicle code violations and contacted Elias Walker, a 23-year-old Oakland resident, and his juvenile passenger, a 17-year-old Vallejo resident. During the course of the stop, officers located narcotics in plain view. A search of the vehicle was performed where officers located ski masks, gloves, ammunition, and a loaded firearm.
Elias and the juvenile passenger were both arrested and booked for possession of a loaded firearm to commit a felony.
