The Turlock and University police departments are warning citizens of an allegedly sexual assault at California State University, Stanislaus and are seeking help identifying the suspect.
On Tuesday, the CSU Stanislaus University Police Department received report of an alleged assault at approximately 8:47 p.m. on Monday night.
The incident occurred on the main walkway between Dorothy and Bill Bizzini Hall and the quad.
An unknown male subject allegedly walked up to a woman on the walkway, began talking to her and allegedly put his arm around her. The subject then allegedly kissed the victim’s cheek and ear without her permission.
The victim pushed the subject aside and walked away from him. At this time, the suspect walked toward Bizzini Hall and was not seen again.
According to the University Police Department, the suspect is described as an “East Indian” adult male in his 20s. He stands approximately 5 feet, 8 inches, with a thin build, short black hair, brown eyes, and a goatee. He was also seen riding a skateboard.
