This Saturday, the MedicAlert Foundation will host the Fourth Annual Super Hero Kids Health & Safety Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2323 Colorado Ave. in Turlock.
Children who attend the free event are encouraged to dress up in their favorite superhero attire.
Starting at noon, Brett Nichols, Pitman High’s “Michael Jackson Dancing Sensation,” and the LMNTO Dancers will be performing several Michael Jackson numbers, along with an original dancing routine.
Children are requested to bring their bicycles and helmets to participate in a bicycle safety training course by the Turlock Police Department and participants will be entered into a drawing to win a free bicycle from MOSCE Federal Credit Union.
In addition to those event highlights there will be bounce houses, first responder demonstrations, kids arts and crafts, a helicopter landing, karate and dance performances, car seat safety checks available, a teddy bear clinic and food vendors.
Over the past three years the event has attracted and provided health screenings and safety education to more than 5,000 area residents.
