On Monday, April 24th, 2023, at 9:11 am, a Turlock Police officer near Save Mart, 1631 Lander Ave, Turlock, got out with a suspicious person.
The officer made contact with and identified the man as Jaime Lopez, 38, of Turlock.
When the officer had his dispatcher run the man, he discovered that he had three bench warrants. The first was a $100,000 felony one out of Stanislaus County for driving or taking a vehicle without the consent of its owner, the second was a $3,000 misdemeanor one out of Madera for driving without a valid driver’s license and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility to a peace officer, and the third was a $25,000 misdemeanor one out of Madera for driving without a valid driver’s license and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility to a peace officer.
Lopez was arrested and found to be in possession of methamphetamines.
Lopez was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of possession of methamphetamines, as well as his warrants.
