On Thursday, September 29th, 2022, at 6:49 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported suspicious person at Kohl’s, 2751 Countryside Dr, Turlock, after a loss prevention officer had spotted a man who had stolen from the business in the past.
Officers arrived on scene and contacted Bakari Franco, 37, of Modesto, in front of the business.
When officers had their dispatcher run them, he was discovered to be wanted for a previous theft.
Franco was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of grand theft and violation of probation.
