On Friday, February 10th, 2023, at 5:32 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported aggravated assault that had just occurred at Denny’s, 1991 Lander Ave, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with the victim who told them that an unknown man had exited the business without paying for his food. The man got into a red Chevrolet sedan and began driving off, when the victim stood in his path in an attempt to block him. The man then accelerated into the victim, causing a minor injury, and fled the area southbound on Lander Ave.

The area was checked, however, officers were unable to locate the suspect or his vehicle.

The victim refused any medical treatment or transport.
