At about 4:02am Saturday, University Police responded to a suspicious person at the Residential Life Village on the CSU Stanislaus campus.
The caller reported that there was a man fighting the air and throwing his shoes around on the third floor of the Village Phase 3 building.
Corporal Ramirez arrived on scene and located a shirtless man who was displaying objective symptoms of being under the influence of drugs. He was detained and identified as Jonathan Bonilla, 35, of Whittier.
A vehicle was also located at the Village Circle roundabout parked in the red zone which was determined to belong to Bonilla.
Bonilla was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct.
At the time of writing this, Turlock City News was unable to confirm whether or not Bonilla is a student.
