On Sunday, May 8th, 2022, at 11:33 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with unknown injuries in the 0 block of N Daubenberger Rd, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a single vehicle involved, a black Volkswagen sedan, that had crashed into a guy-wire and a house.

The vehicle had a single occupant, an adult male, who did not suffer any injuries. The house that was struck was unoccupied at the time of the collision.

The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away.

Officers began investigating and determined that the collision happened when the driver of the vehicle lost control as he was chasing another vehicle that had struck him just prior to at the intersection of East Avenue and North Vincent Road. The California Highway Patrol responded to investigate that collision and no information regarding it is available as of now.

The Turlock Irrigation District responded to the scene to conduct repairs to the guy-wire.
