On Friday, May 12th, 2023, at 12:50 am, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported aggravated assault that had just occurred in the alleyway behind a residence in the 300 block of S Broadway, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a 33-year-old man who had been beaten with bars and bats by a group of several subjects who had all fled the scene.

The victim suffered a head injury and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.

Officers began investigating and spoke with a witness, who told them that the incident occurred as a result of an altercation between several subjects at a house party.

The suspects have yet to be identified.
