At about 12:43am Tuesday, Turlock Police Officer Ayala made a traffic stop near the El Amigo Motel in the 1500 block of S. First Street.
Ayala made contact with and identified the vehicle’s three occupants, including driver Yordy Gonzalez, 24, of Turlock.
When Ayala had his dispatcher run the three, he discovered Gonzalez had three $50,555 misdemeanor bench warrants. The first was out of Ceres for driving with a suspended license and displaying or presenting false vehicle registration, the second was out of Stanislaus County for engaging in a motor vehicle exhibition of speed, and the third was out of Stanislaus County for engaging in a motor vehicle speed contest and reckless driving.
Gonzalez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
