On Sunday, April 16th, 2023, at 12:37 pm, a Turlock Police officer near Rolling Soundz, 1125 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, observed a driver violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on him.
The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver as Jonathan Juarez, 25, of Delhi.
During the stop, the officer noticed narcotics in plain view in the vehicle, so he removed Juarez from it and conducted a probable cause search. During the search, the officer discovered an AR pistol loaded with a drum magazine and evidence of narcotics sales.
Juarez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of an assault weapon, transporting or selling a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded and operable firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a short-barrelled rifle or shotgun, and possession of a large-capacity magazine.
