At about 10:50pm Friday, Turlock Police Officer Ruiz made a bicycle stop at Lander Avenue and Sixth Street.
Ruiz made contact with and identified the bicyclist as Miguel Peres, 39, of Turlock.
When Ruiz had his dispatcher run Peres, he discovered he had a $20,000 felony Ramey warrant out of Stanislaus County for receiving stolen property under one of his aliases.
Peres’ identity was able to be verified through tattoo information listed on the warrant.
Peres was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
