On Wednesday, January 4th, 2023, at 9:41 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported larceny from a vehicle that had just occurred in front of a residence in the 400 block of N Thor St, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they found and made contact with the suspect who was still in the area. He was identified as Ralph Herrera, 53, of Turlock.

When officers had their dispatcher run Herrera, he returned with four misdemeanor bench warrants. The first one was a $7,555 local one for trespassing, the second one was a $5,555 local one for theft, the third one was out of Tuolumne County, and the fourth one was out of Modesto.

It’s currently unclear what ever happened with the larceny that had originally been reported, however, Herrera was not charged with it.

Herrera was arrested and released on a citation on his warrants.
