At about 4:00am Thursday, Turlock Police Officer Arroyo made a traffic stop near the intersection of W. Linwood Avenue and Lander Avenue.

Arroyo made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including driver David Hendon, 45, of Turlock.

When Arroyo had his dispatcher run Hendon, he discovered that he had a $50,500 felony bench warrant out of Stanislaus County for attempting to deter or resist an executive officer in the performance of their duty by means of threat or violence.

Hendon was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
