On Thursday, April 13th, 2023, at 3:19 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries in front of Avena Bella Apartments, 500 W Linwood Ave, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved. The first was a gray 2020 Kia Sorento and the second was a 2009 Pontiac G6.
Information on injuries was not immediately available, however, one of the involved parties, Carlos Mancio, 28, of Mexico, turned out to have a no-bail felony bench warrant out of Merced for violation of probation.
Mancio was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant. He will eventually be picked up by Merced and transported to their jail.
It’s currently unknown how the collision occurred.
