On Sunday, July 10th, 2022, at 6:26 pm, a Turlock Police officer in the 2300 block of Fulkerth Rd, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.
For unknown reasons, the driver of the vehicle was asked if he would consent to a search. He consented and both he and his passenger, Jorge Vieyra, 19, of Keyes, were removed from the vehicle to conduct said search.
During the search, a loaded handgun, narcotics, and drug sale paraphernalia were located underneath the passenger seat.
Vieyra was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded and operable firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, and possession of a controlled substance for sale.
