At about 8:51pm Friday, Turlock Police Officer De La Cruz got out with two suspicious persons at N. Golden State Boulevard and Almond Avenue.
De La Cruz had recognized one of the two as Jesus Martinez, 40, of Turlock, who was wanted related to a recent incident he was investigating.
Also contacted was a man known to be on post-release community supervision for two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or person addicted to a narcotic. He was briefly detained and a PRCS search was conducted, but no contraband was located so he was released from detention.
Martinez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of domestic violence inflicting corporal injury.
