On Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, at 9:44 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported suspicious person at CVS, 3100 Geer Rd, Turlock, who the business knew to shoplift.
The business reported that there was a man sitting in a vehicle in a handicap parking stall waiting for the woman to exit.
A few minutes later, the woman left the business, got into the vehicle, and the duo began driving off, however, the business was unsure if she had actually stolen anything this time.
Officers arrived in the area within a minute, located the vehicle, and stopped it near the intersection of Geer Rd and Hedstrom Ave.
Officers contacted and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including driver Ramon Gonzalez, 41, of Turlock.
When officers had their dispatcher run Gonzalez, they discovered that he had a $255,555 local misdemeanor bench warrant for obstructing or resisting a public officer in the discharge of their duty.
Gonzalez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
It’s currently unknown if the woman had actually stolen anything from the business, however, if she did, the business didn’t wany anything done about it.
