On Monday, September 5th, 2022, at 4:20 pm, Turlock Police officers were conducting follow-up in a sex offense investigation involving a juvenile being molested, when they discovered two additional victims involving the same suspect dating back to the late 1990’s.
Officers were able to locate the suspect, Moises Lopez, 47, of Turlock, at his residence in the 0 block of Oleander Ln, Turlock, and were able to obtain a full confession from him, rehabilitating an old case which will now be pursued.
Lopez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of committing a lewd or lascivious act with a child under the age of 14 years and false imprisonment.
