At about 11:27pm Friday, Turlock Police responded to a shoplifting that had just occurred at DoubleTime in the 100 block of N. Tully Road.

Officer Aziz arrived in the area and located someone matching the suspect description in the Days Inn parking lot. He was contacted and immediately recognized as Mario Williams, 40, of Lathrop, from his countless prior contacts for similar issues.

Through the investigation, Williams was identified as the suspect and the stolen property from the business was found in his possession.

The business placed Williams under citizen’s arrest and asked that he be trespass admonished from the property. Furthermore, their stolen property was returned to them.

Williams was arrested and released on a citation on the charge of petty theft.
