Thanks to a new partnership, Stanislaus County Library customers can skip waiting for popular titles and of course, those pesky late fees.
Stanislaus County Library has introduced a new service that allows customers to download free digital audiobooks through Hoopla.
Thousand of titles are available for instant streaming online to downloading to smartphones and tablets.
Readers can download the Hoopla app to Android or iOS devices and create a user account linked to the Stanislaus County Library to listen to audiobooks on the go. A valid library card is required in the setup process.
To listen to an audiobook on a computer, visit www.hoopladigital.com and create a user account to gain access and begin streaming audiobooks instantly.
With this new service, customers can check out the same book multiple times, however each customer is limited to two downloads per month. Readers will also enjoy the automatic return of books, which means no late fees. Downloadable audiobooks can be checked out for 21 days.
