Dear Editor,
I very strongly disagree with Ted Howze’s comments in his March 24, 2010 TurlockCityNews.com “Op-Ed.” I, in particular, take it personally that Ted accuses Mayor Lazar of corruption due to his professional involvement as a real estate agent in regards to the Vintage Lounge Project.
For 33 years, Coldwell Banker Endsley & Associates real estate agents have very actively exercised our motto, “Service with Integrity.” John has been affiliated with our business for over 18 years and has been very successful due to his “Service with Integrity” (not corruption!) A significant source of his business is referrals to him from past clients who recommend their family and friends to John. John has consistently been one of our top agents and this does not happen by being a corrupt businessman.
John has faithfully served the City of Turlock’s citizens as a City Council Member and as Mayor for over 18 years (!!!) without accusation and controversy.
On the front page of the Turlock Journal that same day, an article was titled “Chaos and Dysfunction’ Reign at Hughson City Hall.” Turlock City Hall, based on Ted Howze’s very negative and untruthful activities, could achieve the same results.
