On Monday, October 1st, at 6pm, Congressional Candidates Jose Hernandez (D) and Incumbent Congressman Jeff Denham (R) will participate in a public forum at the Snider Auditorium, Performing Arts Building at California State University Stanislaus, held by the League of Women Voters.
This forum will provide an informational opportunity for the community to learn about candidates Jeff Denham and Jose Hernandez and their position on pertinent issues, including higher education.
Each Candidate will have two minutes for an opening statement and will also answer written questions from the audience.
The League of Women Voters will also be holding a Turlock City Council candidates forum on Wednesday, October 3rd, at 6:30pm at the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 156 S. Broadway in Turlock. The format for the public forum will be the same as the Congressional Candidate forum held on Monday.
Also, later this month, the League of Women Voters will be holding a Pros and Cons presentation on October 16th, at 6:30pm – 8:30pm, at the Mary Stuart Rodgers Building, Room 130 at CSU Stanislaus.
