At about 2:01am Saturday, Turlock Police responded to a drive-by shooting that had just occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Baylor Avenue.

Several calls were received about the incident, including from the victims.

It was reported that the suspect had fled the scene northbound on Geer Road in a lifted black pickup truck with “monster truck wheels”, possibly a 2015-2020 Ford F-150 according to one of the witnesses.

Officers checked the area for the suspect vehicle, but were unable to locate it.

Back at the scene, bullet holes were found on the residence and a vehicle parked in front of it, along with several 9mm shell casings in the roadway.

“The suspects are unknown at this time, and the victim house is known for gang activity,” said Sergeant Cervantez. “The incident is believed to be retaliation from a prior shooting that occurred last month.”

No injuries were reported.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information that could assist is encouraged to call Officer Lupe at 209-668-1200.
