San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was fined $10,000 by the NFL for wearing Beats by Dre headphones during his postgame press conference on Sunday night.

The NFL recently banned players from wearing non-Bose headphones when addressing the media before and games and during practices. In March, the NFL and Bose reached a deal to make Bose the official headphone of the NFL.

Kaepernick, who has a deal with Beat by Dre, wore pink Beats during his postgame press conference.

After he announced that he was hit with a $10,000 fine from the NFL, Kap posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, “I support breast cancer awareness! My grandma is a survivor!”

However, it is unknown if Kap will be footing the bill. When asked if Beats by Dre would be paying the fine, Kap answered, “We’ll let that be unanswered.”
