At about 2:44am Saturday, Turlock Police responded to a firework violation at a residence in the 700 block of W. Olive Avenue.

When officers arrived on scene, they contacted two men, including Jeffrey Weston, 32, of Turlock, who was under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself.

“The intoxicated subject was confrontational and denied setting off fireworks, despite having illegal firework mortar debris all around his driveway and in front of his residence,” said Sergeant Parmley.

Weston was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of disorderly conduct.

The other man was warned to not light fireworks if it was him.
