Early this morning, at about 7am, Turlock Police responded to a reported injury accident in the 1400 Block of W. Main Street at N. Tully Road. When they arrived, officers found a 41 year old male motorcyclist in the middle of the road after being involved in a collision.

According to Turlock Police, the male had suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.

A witness told officers that a pickup had been involved in the hit-and-run. The witness provided a description of the pick up to the officers.

Officers conducted a search for the pickup and they located it on Pioneer Avenue in Turlock.

Police found 35 year old, Rodrigo Gutierrez, still inside. The pickup had damage consistent with the accident.

An infield show up was conducted and the witness positively identified Gutierrez as the driver of the pickup involved in the accident, according to Turlock Police.

Gutierrez was arrested and booked for Felony Hit & Run.
