The College of the Arts’ Department of Music at California State University, Stanislaus is pleased to join the Turlock Concert Association to present the Golden Gala Concert in celebration of CSU Stanislaus’ 50th anniversary. This very special performance will be held Thursday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Turlock Community Theatre.
The concert will feature outstanding traditional and contemporary music performances by CSU Stanislaus faculty and students, including choral, wind and jazz ensembles.
A generous donation has enabled the Turlock Concert Association to commission two original compositions by CSU Stanislaus faculty. This special celebration will feature world premiere performances of these new works.
The Turlock Community Theatre is located at 1574 East Canal Dr. in Turlock. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be available at the door, and are $10 for general admission and $8 for students, seniors, and CSU faculty and staff.
