On Monday, September 27th, 2021, at 2:31 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Speedway Express, 1250 East Ave, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they met with the clerk who told them that a male had approached him at the cash register, brandished a handgun, and demanded cash. The clerk told officers that he complied before the subject took off westbound through an alley just west of the business.

Officers checked the area for the subject but were unable to locate him.

No injuries were reported.

The investigation remains on-going.
