A two-car collision snarled traffic at the intersection of Geer Road and Springer Drive on Friday, briefly closing down lanes.

At 8:31 p.m. a Toyota Avalon traveling northbound on Geer Road collided with a Toyota Camry traveling southbound on Geer Road. The incident occurred when the Camry tried to make a left turn onto eastbound Springer Drive, Turlock Police Department Spokesperson Sgt. Russell Holeman said.

The investigator ruled that the Camry failed to properly yield on the left turn, causing the accident.

A woman in the Avalon complained of pain following the accident, but no further injuries were reported.
