YouTube filmmaker, and former Turlocker, Cory “Mr. Safety” Williams has had a recent video of the “Coolest Sound Ever” go viral — with more than 3.1 million people watching the video since Monday.

The video, posted on Williams’ DudeLikeHELLA YouTube channel, shows Williams and his girlfriend wandering in Alaska when they came across a frozen lake.

Williams decided to skip a rock across the frozen lake, but he never expected the awesomely bizarre sound that came from the rocks skipping across the frozen surface.

“This is the coolest sound I’ve ever heard” Williams said in the description of the video.

Williams, formerly of Turlock, moved to Anchorage in August of this year and has been documenting his adventures in Alaska on his YouTube channel.

Before moving to Alaska, Williams was well known in Turlock as “Mr. Safety” and for his other YouTube channel SMPFilms.
