At about 11:32pm Sunday, Turlock Police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at FoodMaxx in the the 1800 block of Countryside Drive.
The caller reported a man had stolen alcohol before getting into the passenger seat of a vehicle and fleeing the scene northbound on Countryside Drive from the business.
While fleeing, the vehicle’s driver tried to hit the caller.
The passenger who stole was described as a Black male adult in his thirties, 6′ tall, 200lbs, wearing a white hat, glasses, pink Barbie shirt, and camo pants. The driver who tried to hit the caller was described as a Black female adult. The suspect vehicle was described as a gray 2017 Dodge Journey, bearing California license 9HEH029.
Officers extensively checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
