On Monday, May 23rd, 2022, at 7:26 am, the Turlock Fire Department, Modesto Fire Department, American Medical Response, and Turlock Police Department were dispatched to a reported residential working structure fire in the 200 block of Davis St, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found a single story single family dwelling with a fire that had started in its kitchen and had extended into its living quarters and attic. All occupants of the home were found outside and accounted for.
Crews worked in the offensive strategy and were able to bring the fire under control in about thirty minutes, calling it completely out shortly thereafter. It was contained to the house of origin.
Crews remained on scene for an extended period of time conducting overhaul, investigation, and other post fire activities.
Four adults and one child were displaced as a result of the fire. The American Red Cross responded and is providing assistance to the family.
The Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigations Unit responded to the scene to investigate the fire, American Medical Response responded to the scene to provide firefighter and patient care, the Turlock Irrigation District and Pacific Gas and Electric Company responded to the scene ot secure utilities, and the Turlock Police Department responded to the scene to provide traffic control, while the Turlock Rural Fire Protection District provided city coverage during the duration of the incident.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
