On Sunday, June 25th, 2023, at 5:06 pm, the Turlock Police Department and Turlock Fire Department were dispatched to a reported confined juvenile in front of a residence in the 600 block of Camellia St, Turlock.
The caller was the mother of the 21-month-old, who stated that she had accidentally locked the infant in the vehicle with the keys. She also stated that she had already called for a tow truck, however, they were taking too long to respond and the windows were up.
Units arrived and firefighters were able to open the vehicle within minutes.
The infant was reunited with their mother and did not suffer any medical emergency.
