On Monday, June 5th, 2023, at 3:26 am, the Turlock Fire Department and Turlock Police Department were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire at Central Valley Recycling, 291 Fifth St, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found an old motorhome with heavy fire involvement threatening a large metal building.
Firefighters immediately began fire attack and were able to quickly bring the fire under control before it spread to the building. It was fully extinguished a short time later.
No injuries were reported.
It’s currently unknown how and exactly where the fire started. The Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigations Unit responded to the scene to investigate.
