A family was displaced early Saturday morning after a fire broke out in the attic of their Turlock residence.
The Turlock Fire Department responded to the 900 block of High Street at 1:23 a.m. Saturday on the report of a fire.
The fire started in the attic of the residence, said the Turlock Fire Department spokesperson, police Lt. Ron Reid.
Upon arriving, the Turlock Fire Department was able to put out the blaze.
The family was displaced due to the fire, and the American Red Cross responded to help with the needs of the family.
Reid there were no significant injuries caused by the fire.
The total amount of damage done to the residence and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, said Reid.
