A 24-year-old male is facing drunk driving and resisting arrest charges after allegedly charging at a police officer during a field sobriety test.
Marco Garcia, 24, was involved in a solo vehicle accident on the 3900 block of North Walnut Road at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Sunday.
According to Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb, Garcia collided into the median and his vehicle was not drivable.
Officers responded and gave Garcia a field sobriety test.
During the sobriety test, Garcia allegedly charged at the officer giving him the test, reports the Turlock Police Department.
Garcia was arrested for drunk driving and resisting arrest.
