On Sunday, July 23rd, 2023, at 8:46 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Lander Ave and Montana Ave, Turlock.
When units arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved, a black 2004 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2014 Jeep Wrangler.
At least one person was injured, however, specific details were not available.
Officers began speaking with the driver of one of the vehicles, Jason Quistian, 37, of Turlock, and noticed that he was exhibiting objective symptoms, so they asked him if he’d be willing to participate in standardized field sobriety tests. Quistian agreed and completed the tests.
Based on the totality of the circumstances, officers determined that Quistian was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested.

Afterwards, Quistian was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol causing bodily injury to another person.
It’s currently unknown how the collision occurred.
