On Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, at 4:14 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to reported fraudulent activity at Walgreens, 1591 Geer Rd, Turlock, after it had been discovered that an employee had been taking cash out of the drawer during the span of the past two months which totaled about $1,200.

The employee, Macario Aguilar, 25, of Turlock, was standing by in the office with loss prevention after admitting to the allegations, however, did not know that the police had been called.

Officers arrived on scene and interviewed Aguilar, ultimately arresting him.

Aguilar was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of embezzlement.
