The Turlock Police Department is investigating the death of an unidentified male who was found near Turlock railroad tracks Saturday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a body located near the Union Pacific Railroad tracks, along Golden State Boulevard north of Fulkerth Road, at approximately 8:18 a.m.

The body of a deceased unidentified white male was located by officers near the tracks.

The cause of death is still being investigated and police have not said if the death is being investigated as a homicide.

The Turlock Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the deceased male.

According to the Turlock Police Department, he was approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighed approximately 130 to 150 pounds, with dark blonde or brown hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be approximately 16 to 21 years old.

The victim was wearing a gray and white plaid shirt, a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.
