TurlockCityNews.com wants to remind readers to “spring forward” on Saturday night, as Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Most software automatically updates if it is set to the correct standard time for your area, which is Pacific Standard Time in Turlock. However, it is important to double check electronic devices and manually turn clocks forward around the house.
Make sure to move clocks back before bed, unless you plan on being up around 2 a.m. or running an hour behind on Sunday morning.
Daylight Saving Time is no longer required by the federal government in the US, thus Hawaii and most of Arizona, with the exception of Navajo Indian Reservation, do not observe the time change.
Daylight Saving Time will end on Nov. 1, when we “fall back” an hour.
