TURLOCK – Community college students who want to attend California State University, Stanislaus in fall 2009 must apply by Monday, June 1.
Applicants can find information and apply online at www.csumentor.edu. For more information, visit the University Web site at www.csustan.edu or call CSU Stanislaus Student Outreach at (209) 667-3070.
Students seeking teacher credential program, undergraduate, and graduate program fall admission also must apply by June 1 for fall 2009 admission.
Transfer students must turn in their notification of intent to enroll for the fall semester by Tuesday, June 30, or two weeks after being notified of admission to the University. The earlier deadlines are part of an effort to have students enrolled as soon as possible to help meet California State University system enrollment limits enacted due to the state’s budget deficits.
Those who do not meet the deadlines are likely to have their admission rescinded, said Roger Pugh, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Services. CSU Stanislaus is limiting its new student enrollment this year as part of a CSU system response to conform with state budget restrictions. Pugh noted that no new student admissions for the January 2010 winter term will be accepted this year.
Admitted students are advised to check their “MYCSUSTAN” Web site accounts for notices and alerts on enrollment deadlines. They can also contact University Outreach at (209) 667-3070 or visit the University Web site at
