As the General Election near, California State University, Stanislaus’ ASI Student Government will host “#2014Candidates,” an open forum meet and greet where students will have the opportunity to learn more about relevant political issues.
Turlock Mayoral candidates Mike Brem and Gary Soiseth, State Assembly District 12 candidate Harinder Grewal, and Congressional District 10 candidate Michael Eggman will be present.
Students will have the opportunity to get involved by meeting the candidates who are vying for their votes. The forum will allow students to raise their concerns, ask the tough questions, and allow candidates the opportunity to share their visions for the community.
The event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Carol Burke Student Lounge inside the University Student Union at CSU Stanislaus, located at One University Circle.
