California State University Stanislaus students are gearing up for commencement ceremonies, to be held on May 30 and 31.
For the first time in CSU Stanislaus history doctoral, master's and credential graduates will be recognized in a separate ceremony on May 30. Undergraduate students receiving their degrees will undergo traditional commencement ceremonies on May 31.
This spring, approximately 2,800 graduates will receive degrees from CSU Stanislaus, including 2,00 baccalaureate candidate and nearly 800 doctoral, master’s and credential candidates.
The commencement ceremony for the doctoral, master’s and credential programs will be held at 6 p.m. May 30. Undergraduate students receiving degrees from the College of the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and the College of Education will graduate at 8:30 a.m. on May 31, while students from the College of Business Administration and the College of Science will graduate at 12:30 p.m.
All three commencement ceremonies will be held at the CSU Stanislaus Amphitheatre, located at the Turlock campus at One University Circle.
Free parking will be available on campus during the commencement ceremonies. Tickets are not required to attend the ceremonies, though guest seating is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional indoor seating will also be available in the Demergasso-Bava Hall and Snider Recital Hall, where the ceremonies will be broadcast live.
