Creedence Clearwater Revisited at the Stanislaus County Fair

Instead of being 'Stuck in Lodi Again,' Creedence Clearwater Revisited will be in the City of Turlock to rock the stage at the 2013 Stanislaus County Fair.

On July 14, Creedence Clearwater Revisited will perform on the Budweiser Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m. The concert will be hosted by The Hawk 104.1 and is free with the price of fair admission.

“Creedence Clearwater Revisited is a great addition to our lineup,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “Fair guests who love rock and roll music will have a great time reminiscing to their songs.”

Stu Cook and Doug ‘Cosmo’ Clifford, the bass and drum players from the legendary group Creedence Clearwater Revival, originally formed the tribute band in 1995.

Although the group planned to play at private parties only, Creedence Clearwater Revisited currently plays up to 100 shows per year and released their own album entitled ‘Recollection.’

The band plays Revival’s hits all over the world, including North America, South America, Central America, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and Asia. They believe their music is still relevant today, and attribute part of their success to a generation who wasn’t born when their music was originally released in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

With two original members from Revival, Creedence Clearwater Revisited will astound guests at the Fair with their music and energy.

The 2013 Stanislaus County Fair opens July 12 for a fun-filled 10-day run. Discounted fair admission tickets, unlimited ride wristbands, and Fair season passes will be on sale beginning May 4.

Visit the Fair’s website for upcoming ticket sale information at www.stancofair.com.
