A few Costco employees are being hailed as heroes after they were able to chase down and detain a male suspect who stole items from the store Monday afternoon.
At approximately 5 p.m., a suspect, later identified as 24-year-old Ravsager Singh, allegedly stole items from the Costco located at 2955 N. Tegner Rd.
Multiple Costco employees allegedly witnessed the theft, and chased Singh across North Tegner Road, to the area between Cool Hand Lukes and Candlewood Suites.
At this time, the Costco employees were allegedly able to catch the suspect and detain him until the Turlock Police Department arrived on scene.
Turlock police arrived at 5:09 p.m. and made the arrest.
Singh was arrested for grand theft.
