Turlock Police continue to search for a man accused of robbing Turlock's Cost Less Market on Wednesday, stealing an undisclosed amount of cash while brandishing a handgun.
The police released three images of the suspect on Tuesday, captured by Cost Less Market's in-store security system. The photos appear to show the man standing behind the checkout counter with an open plastic grocery bag, while grocery clerks stand at open cash registers.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:54 p.m. Wednesday, when the Turlock Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress at Cost Less Market, located at 255 W. Main St.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, between 5'7” and 5'9” in height. He is believed to weigh approximately 250 pounds, with a mustache and a goatee on the base of his chin.
He was last seen fleeing the scene on a bicycle, traveling from the Cost Less Market parking lot into a nearby neighborhood. Police were unable to locate the suspect following a search.
