Tonight, Wednesday May 9th, Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society at California State University Stanislaus, will be hosting a Congressional 10th District Candidates Meet and Greet at the university.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Meet and Greet will feature candidates Jeff Denham (R), Jose Hernandez (D), Mike Barkley (D), Chad Condit (I), and Troy Wayne McComak (I).
“We’re honored that the candidates took time out of their busy schedules to join us in making this event a success,” stated Evan Barrett, President of the Pi Sigma Alpha – Tau Lambda Chapter.
“We feel that holding an open forum such as this is the best way to promote advocacy and civic responsibility amongst our students and community.”
The event will start at 7:00pm and will run until 8:30pm, and will be held in the Carol Burke Student Lounge (USU 101), at CSU Stanislaus, located at One University Circle in Turlock.
