The Turlock Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, highlighted by an update on the implementation of Common Core Standards.
Following public discussion a presentation will be given to inform trustees on the progress of Common Core implementation and training for the district's teachers and staff.
Trustees will also vote to accept an annual adjustment for facility use fees.
On the consent calendar there are numerous personal service contracts for history and social science standards based information with California Weekly Explorer, as well as contracts for Red Ribbon Week Activities.
Walnut Elementary Education Center student McKenzie Bronken will provide the meeting's inspiration. Bronken is the TUSD Character Counts award recipient for trustworthiness.
The TUSD Board of Trustees will meet at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at the District Professional Development Center at eCademy Charter at Crane school site, 1100 Cahill St.
