San Francisco 49ers quarterback and Turlock native Colin Kaepernick has been making headlines recently after putting a Twitter troll on blast.
On Wednesday, Kaepernick tweeted during a long work day he spent working his body and mind.
1000 abs…. arm workout….. 10 min straight on the jump rope…. 2 hour study session in February….. that's what we call a recovery day!

One Twitter user, Stephen Batten, wasn’t quite satisfied with Kaepernick’s workout for the day and decided to talk a little trash to the NFL quarterback.
@Kaepernick7 @49ers ab workout won't help find open receiver #study

Kaepernick, who has gotten his fair share of criticism on Twitter following a season considered subpar by many, doesn’t often respond to critics, however felt the need to in this instance.
@battman_returns are you illiterate or just ignorant? Read the tweet again better yet give me your breakdown of every defensive coverage
— Colin Kaepernick (@Kaepernick7) February 18, 2015
@battman_returns I want every players responsibility on every coverage if you can't do it mind your damn business clown!

Many have backed Kaepernick’s response to the internet troll, but Batten has become significantly more popular on Twitter since being put on blast. As of Thursday afternoon, Batten has more than 3,000 followers on Twitter. Kaepernick has been spending his offseason working out in Arizona with former-NFL quarterback Kurt Warner.
